As Chief Digital Information Officer at Azurity, Jonathan Shough leads Azurity’s global Digital and IT organizations, driving enterprise value through technology and building the digital infrastructure that powers the company’s next phase of growth.

Mr. Shough joined Azurity in 2026 and is responsible for building and scaling platforms, intelligence systems, and automation infrastructure that support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and future-state readiness across the organization. He brings more than 35 years of experience driving data, AI, and technology strategies across the global life sciences and healthcare industries.

He is recognized for his ability to translate emerging technologies into competitive advantage and for building high-performing global teams with a proven track record of delivery. Mr. Shough is known for pioneering enterprise-wide AI and technology adoption, establishing relationships with leading AI providers, and leading complex mergers, integrations, and IPO processes across highly matrixed organizations.

Prior to Azurity, Mr. Shough served as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Parexel, where he led a global technology organization of more than 750 professionals, drove enterprise AI adoption in partnership with providers including Palantir and Microsoft, and established the CRO industry’s first AI Office. He previously held senior technology leadership roles at Advarra and Labcorp.

Mr. Shough studied Business Administration at the University of Phoenix and Justice and Policy Studies at Guilford College. He is a Marine Corps Veteran. Mr. Shough’s professional work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and CIO Review, and he has received several peer and industry awards. Mr. Shough is dedicated to advancing Azurity’s AI and technology capabilities in support of delivering meaningful solutions for patients, providers, and healthcare systems worldwide.
