Chief Medical Officer

Vinicius Gomes de Lima joined Azurity in 2025 as Chief Medical Officer. As a pharmaceutical physician and global medical leader, Vinicius has held senior roles at the local, regional, and global levels in both large and specialty pharmaceutical companies. Most recently, he led cross-functional teams at Mundipharma and CSL Vifor to shape medical strategy, strengthen scientific engagement, and deliver meaningful patient impact.

Trained in Switzerland, Vinicius earned his MD and doctorate from the University of Zurich and specialized in Pharmaceutical Medicine at the University of Basel. He also holds an MBA, blending scientific rigor with business acumen to drive sustainable value. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FFPM, UK) and a member of both the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) and the Swiss Society of Pharmaceutical Medicine (SSPM).
