Gerold Mosher joined Azurity Pharmaceuticals (formerly Silvergate Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) as Vice President of Drug Development in 2013. He has over 30 years of experience in drug formulation development, most recently joining Silvergate from Verrow Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Ligand Pharmaceuticals) where he served as Chief Scientific Officer and Vice President of Product Development. Prior to that, Gerold was Sr. Director at CyDex Pharmaceuticals, and earlier served in senior product development scientist roles at Merck Research Laboratories, and Eli Lilly and Company.

Gerold has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and is an inventor on 35 patents.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Master’s and Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The University of Kansas.
