Gavin McGowan joined Azurity Pharmaceuticals as Vice President of Sales in October 2020. He brings over 25 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience as an accomplished and award-winning sales executive. He has extensive experience in sales force design, analytics, incentive programs, customer-relationship management (CRM) platforms and customer engagement programs, training, operations and most notably, building and leading high performing sales organizations within emerging and established biopharma companies including senior executive roles in sales and marketing with Abbott, Covidien, Mallinckrodt, BioDelivery Sciences, Kaleo, and IQVIA.

Prior to joining Azurity, Gavin served as a sales executive with both IQVIA and most recently with Ashfield Healthcare where he designed and launched numerous teams in specialty areas across a myriad of therapeutic areas to support new product launches and established product portfolios with large, mid-size and emerging biopharma companies. He has been instrumental in developing, training and optimizing successful sales engagement strategies including incorporating omni-channel marketing to create a unique customer experience for organizations both prior and during the pandemic that has enabled organizations to realize optimal performance in revenue and value generating partnerships.

Gavin holds a BS from Plymouth State College and is certified in Executive Sales Leadership from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
