Francisco Lozano joined Azurity Pharmaceuticals (formerly CutisPharma) in February 2019 as Vice President, Quality. He has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently joining CutisPharma from Humco Holding Group, Inc. (now Fagron), where he served as Executive VP, Chief Quality Officer. Prior to that, Francisco served in senior compliance and regulatory roles at Chattem (now Sanofi) and Yamanouchi Pharma Technologies (now Astellas). He started his early career as an analytical chemist, gaining responsibilities over his career in leadership roles including QC Laboratory Supervisor, Plant QA Manager, Validation Manager, and Manager of Corporate Quality. He has a BSc in Chemistry and an MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition to his pharmaceutical career, Francisco served for many years in the USAF Reserve, receiving an Honorable Discharge.
