Fenella Chisholm joined Azurity as our Chief Human Resources Officer in February 2023. Fenella has more than 20 years’ experience in US and multinational organizations primarily in the pharmaceutical industry. She has proven leadership in a variety of human resource disciplines including talent management, performance management, employee engagement, organizational development and design, and change management.

Most recently, Fenella was Senior Vice President & Global Head of People & Organization at Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research in Cambridge, MA, where she provided strategic HR support for the 5,500-person early research & early development division of Novartis. Other roles have included Global Head of HR Global and Corporate Functions at Novartis International AG in Switzerland, various HR Leadership roles with Novartis Over-the-Counter Medicines Business Unit in both the US and Europe, and Vice President of HR for Animal Health, North America. Her earlier career included time with Bristol-Myers Squibb and Ford Motor Company.

Fenella has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Psychology, a master’s degree in Occupational Psychology, and is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society.
