Fabio joined Azurity in 2025 as Chief Quality Officer following the integration of Covis Pharma, where he had served for 13 years as Global Head of Quality. At Azurity, Fabio is responsible for the implementation and oversight of the Quality System, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).

Prior to his time at Covis, Fabio held various roles at Biogen, including serving as a Qualified Person. He also held positions in Process Development at GlaxoSmithKline, supporting early-stage clinical trials, and conducted basic research on novel therapeutic agents at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. Fabio holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Siena, Italy, and earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wuppertal, Germany.
