Chief Commercial Officer, Europe and International

Ronald van der Rol joined Azurity in 2025 as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe and International, bringing over 25 years of broad experience in the areas of marketing, sales and commercial strategy and operations.

Ronald joined Azurity through the company’s 2025 investment with Covis Pharma, where he was Vice President and the Global Head of Commercial. Ronald also served as the Global Commercial Head for cell & gene therapy business at GSK and held a variety of commercial leadership roles at Celgene/BMS, focused on their inflammation & immunology and hematology CAR-T businesses. A significant portion of Ronald’s earlier career was spent at Biogen, where he worked for over 15 years in leadership roles across sales, marketing, country leadership, commercial operations, and led various product launches globally. He received his B.S. in Economics & Marketing from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in the Netherlands.
